"burns 33% more calories than a bike"
So. A less efficient way of getting around than a bike. Only really useful as an exercise machine then. ____________________ Honda Varadero 125cc => Suzuki Bandit 650 33bhp => 77bhp =>

Or for people who get saddle sore easily?
There are other bizarre exercise machine based bicycles.
The rowing bike - works like a rowing machine, and again I've seen these in action on the big rides like Paris-Brest-Paris.
Or how about a treadmill bike?. Never seen one of these in the flesh, but they look so practical -

Would prefer to try a recumbent bike even if they are kind of impractical as a mountain bike.
Elliptical bikes look even worse. |

Not sure how you'd keep your legs out the way of the rear wheel though. ____________________ Current: 2009 SV650 S, 1990 Kawasaki GT550
