JUST PASSED!

Second Test Attempt with No lessons. All those freezing cold late night hours practicing, plodding along on the little SR125, have finally paid off. Real Awesome feeling!

Now that’s out of the way at last, my eyes are firmly set on Summer and my 33bhp restricted licence on my Suzuki GS500 after a long year on the SR125.

The GS500 is in the back garden just begging to be ridden. The only problem is I need it restricted to 33bhp and the insurance wont be cheap me being so young and living in London. So I need to save as much as I can.

£200 or more for a restrictor kit is a joke, so I just want to know if anyone can give me advice or point me in some kind of direction of where I can get my 02 Suzuki GS500 restricted for cheaper.

Thanks
Couldn’t have done it without you lot!

Very Happy

Get the insurance first and make your saving there, you will also find out what sort of level of proof they are looking for.

£200 Buys a lot of tarty bits for a GS

I am getting a restrictor fitted by West London Suzuki ((www.westlondonsuzuki.co.uk) or .com) for a grand total of £165. The kit itself cost £140 so not bad at all. Getting my GS500 fitted Thumbs Up

Also Virgin Insurance aka CIA Insurance quoted me £270 for my GS500 in a B grade postcode with Alphadot. Nothing else (eg. 17, no ncb)

baller - https://www.gs500e.co.uk I'm sure someone there has a spare kit you can have. Or even copy.

Also, go about emailing gs500 sellers on the internet....the engine hasnt really been changed so restrictors in a 96 GS should fit a 02 GS Thumbs Up
