visor cleaning

i was using the same stuff i use to clean my glasses.
however i note that it can make break / street lights appear a bit star like.

is there anything people user in particular and are happy with ?

I have one of those little spray bottles that originally held some branded visor cleaner. When that ran out, I just started filling it with water with a small drop of washing up liquid, and keep a clean jiffy cloth with it. Seems to be adequate.

you know that soap you get in a bottle with a pump dispenser on the top, liquid soap?

smear it all over your visor inside and out, and then start washing it off building up a lather, keep running it under the tap until all the soap is off, then dry it with microfiber cloth

and there it is, my gift to you all, having sat for hours in Arai and Shoei technical training sessions

I use a generic spray of some kind of plastic cleaner each evening when I get back in, quick squirt and clean with a microfibre cloth - ready for the morning.

Whilst out - I use my prototype visor sprayer 😀 it’s mint. (If I do say so myself).

Rainpal and Rainpal XHD for the heavy stuff.

If my Rainpal is finished (Re-order in the mail) then I use Fairy or this stuff I got to clean windows with a squeegee that doesn't leave streaks. (Fuckedifahknow what it is called).

Rain-X is mostly alcohol, plus some secret sauce and/or snake oil. It works for both cleaning and rain-B-gone. Oh noes, brittlings, but I've yet to have it destroy a visor before it's been scratched and scuffed to buggery anyway.
