Yeah. Pretty shitty yeah? I'd be RIGHT pissed off if I'd bought one of those expecting levels of performance that go with a "CBR" label.

My wifes 18 year old CB500S twin with 35k miles on it will still hit 125mph by the time I get onto the bypass (that's just over 200km/h).

That's progress for you. Rolling Eyes

I'd believe an indicated 125. According to the book it's 120mph and the CB500S is 20kg lighter than a CBR500R with nearly an extra 15 horses.
