The drill press one in OP's link

I once saw an idiot try to drill out the holes in a 24" flange using a drill press on auto feed and holding the flange with his hands.

Needless to say it didn't end well when the drill bit and the flange started rotating. It took ages to clean all the blood up

I used to be shit scared of pillar drills. As a first year apprentice I was using one and hadn’t bolted the vice down properly, so naturally the drill grabbed at the bottom of the hole, picked up my piece of steel with the vice, gave it a few whirls and chucked it into the wall on my right. Unfortunately there was another drill there, being used by another apprentice and I think he nearly shat himself when it whizzed by under his chin.
