Yesterday i sold the cbr600 (p/x'd it) and brought meself a ...... ZX7R Cool

I'm soo happy, and it feels so much faster than the CBR (and nowhere near as comfy)

I felt like i should have been buying the green one but i didn't!

The green paintwork is worth two seconds a lap though.

The RR is a "homologation" race rep which was a limited edition single-seat road bike, with a close ratio gear box, different carbs and valves (i think) which can be tuned a fair bit more than the standard zx7r.

Good choice that man! Wink

If you are gonna change the can though, change the whole system, the pipework is renown for rotting!

Either that or black hammerite on the pipes will do the job too.

Alternatively, you could do what I did and throw it down the road after 4 months and have to put a new system and can on it! Rolling Eyes Embarassed

Hi

Nice bike. Now look up "Chiropractor" in the yellow pages.

Yep, an extra 2 seconds a lap. Adds loads of time trying to avoid the people who shut their eyes to avoid seeing that colour.

All the best

Keith

There's a review in April's RIDE (I think it's RIDE will check when I get home) on the 7R - not a good review at all though regarding riding position and suspension. It does say it's a great Track Bike though! Confused

I think it looks lovely though Ant Thumbs Up Even for not being green! Wink
