Which series again?

He`s had a few, my personal fave was the one they used for the Australian tour.

A real work of art!

The original trike was a Boom Trike.

The last series in New Zealand the trike was built by UK Trikes.

And the yellow sticker, down by his right foot, is a NABD sticker Very Happy

Cheers,

Byrnie.

Trike building is one of my long term ambitions in life. My mum's after one when she's too old for falling off BMW's. Very Happy

A lot of the disadvantages of a bike, with a lot of the disadvantages of a car, but they do also take a hell of a lot of advantages from both. It might just be me, but I'll admire the handiwork taken to make a custom trike far more than that needed for someone to customise a bike.

Besides, trikes are just the height of cool, especially if they're as well made as Billy's.

I was once told if you combine the worst things about a car and the worst things about a bike, you get a trike. Laughing

Get enough torque down without spinning the rear wheels and sure!

You can wheelie anything with the right weight distribution and enough torque. Most vehicles overcome the grip of their tyres before they can generate enough tyre force needed, because too much of the weight is at the front.

Of course, 'anything' needs to be rear wheel drive, or front wheel drive in reverse... Smile

That's a similar layout to the "pheonix" VW based trike, the box at the back is the engine. You can lift the front end of those things with one hand, so believe me, they wheelie Wink

Main problem I had was remembering not to touch the throttle coming out of corners...

Two wheels at the front make alot more sense. Not so "bad boy cool" but works alot better.

Couldn't fine a picture of them but it still looks cool.

Thumbs Up agree.

If anyone has any info on the 'hammerhead' trikes please post or PM me. I read somewhere a company was building a few but I can't find the details. Thanks. Thumbs Up

Iv'e only ever seen them in BSH and streetfighter made by hardcore customisers. I've never actually seen a nice looking one because they screw it up with nasty bling everywhere. Even saw one with a huge stilleto shoe fairing that you sat in Sick .

I was thinking a head first lying on your stomach sort of position with your head just above the two wheels and your feet very far back. Good for aerodynamics as well.
