hi just got back from college and on the way my nsr 125 is back firing alot as in as soon as i rev the engine aswell as this the bike felt as though it was trying to clear its throat this isnt unusual it normaly does but after a couple of secs it goes away how ever this time it hasnt and i can get 40 out of it at most
theres plenty of engine oil in and plenty of gear oil. any ideas please reply asap

Check/change the plug.

Failing that check/change the HT lead.

A backfire is unburnt fuel being ignited in the exhaust, which normally means a spark problem.
