Overall I liked the series but found the final special naff, particularly when compared to the TG Africa specials.

I think this season has been a bit dull, especially the last episode. I’m looking forward to the return of Top Gear as it’s the better car show since Chris Evans left Thumbs Up

I'll give the new new TG a go to see if they've gelled together a bit better. It's nowhere near as good as Clarkson and co. at their best.

I liked series two of Grand Tour, except the mozambique special

but thought the rest of it was pretty decent

Well it certainly ticks more BBC boxes now there's not a single white English male presenting anywhere on the show.

The new line up doesn't work for me. Too much effort on diversity and not enough on chemistry.

I see you've added to your retardedness, after I pointed out last time you went on about a lack of whitey that Sabine and EJ were still with the show Rolling Eyes

That is the problem when you not only pushed the envelope of car entertainment for so long, but in many ways reinvented it, so many now try and be like TG/TGT,
They had the ending they never got at the BBC,
It was the end and I think they knew it,

Plus Richard and Jeremy are in full swing if their own 2024 version of TV.

Personally I didn't want them to reinvent anything.
I always liked the road trips with all the breakdowns, shithousery and glorious anti pc-ness.
Things on tv that make me smile these days are few and far between but I proper roared with laughter in the last episode when Hammond had to remove his rear shocks and bounce down the road.
The truly spectacular locations and backdrops just made each episode more compelling for me.
I will miss it all.

i prefer Clarksons farm to the Grand tour and Mays own stuff can be quite entertaining too.

it never felt quite as good to me after theyd left the BBC. still better than most other shows though.
