Helmet Graphics

i know there are a few threads on here about lids, but im thinking more about the graphics side. I quite like dark colours and would like a dark lid also, but do you think it would be better to get a more brightely coloured one for visibility?

These are ones im looking at, all shoei XR-1000's as these fit my head well. I really quite like the diabolic and Badge styles, but am thinking i should probably go for the kagayama replica or the alloy, due to higher visibility? what do u guys reckon, is the colour particularly important, or will i be not see by drivers whatever i wear?!

The alloy one seemed popular at the bike show on saturday, I too like the graphite-esque last one! And the red one too!

The kagayama rep is much better in blue, the red is a bit naff and i've never seen him ware a red one, so its kinda a non rep race rep.

I like them all except the first and the last one.

They tell you at the CBT that you should wear a white helmet, but I believe there is evidence that white doesn't register well in peripheral vision so you should get a brightly coloured one. Mine's yellow!

I like the first one LOADS, but you won't be able to get that, it was last years limited edition, but they have brought out a new LE for this year the Diabolic2.

Personally I prefer the race reps, and currently have the original Haga rep, but have previously had Scott Russell rep and a Rossi one too.

My better half has a XR900 in the chimera colours, which I would have had, but she beat me to it

The alloys are on offer at Infinity. Personally I like the Diabolic and the Dajiro reps. The kagayama now comes in a nice silver colour to go with the new silver gixxer K5 Rizla rep.
When you have to sell them all day you just have to reply to a thread like this.

I havent seen the diabolic in "the flesh" as it were so im not sure about how i wuld feel about its flashiness. Im generally quite reserved. Saw the 3D tour of it on the shoei website, and it looks pretty good, apart from the little blue skull on the back.....

One thing I will say about it is that it looks alot better in the flesh. The quality and finish is top notch. You're making me quite miss it now.
