Exporting CAT B frame

Him I have a cat b frame with the plates and log book , can I export this abroad ? And if so is there any countries I can not export to ?
Iv seen German frames being sold in the UK ( on ebay ) , so is it possible to ship the frame to Germany?

As far as I can tell, the only thing that "cat B" i.e. marked as written off, non repairable, means is that DVLA will not issue a new V5C.

The question isn't who will let you, it's who will prevent you.

Thanks , so dvla won't stop me ? And if I do sell it overseas will I need to ship it with the log book ?

Lool the frame is fine and not damaged at all . The guy that inspected the bike after the crash said he's giving it cat b as the engine was leaking and the front wheel was off . The only thing left from the bike is the main frame

Then export it. Nobody in Germany is going to give a stuff about a UK flag on an undamaged piece of metal.

I'll put it up on sale but if I send it with the log book , will dvia be notified if someone abroad is registering it in there country

No. When you ship it, tell the DVLA that the "bike" (i.e. the frame) has been exported, end of story.

There's no need to fret. Your main concern is ensuring that DVLA know that you're no longer the keeper so that they don't keep chasing you for VED and blackmailing you for not having the "bike" continuously insured.
