As I am selling it, I cleaned it up deeply and made pictures in a park in Florence... I have to avoid that every time I see these pictures I think seriously to keep the bike even if I do not have much time to use it right now...

It's nice and all the bike anyone needs for a fraction of the price of a newish litre bike. Smart buy for someone with sense.

My ZX6R was in that kind of condition when I sold it, and like you I wanted to keep it, but wasn't using it really. If you have a definite definitive use for the cash like I did then fair enough sell it.

But I'd sit on a good bike for a few years if it was just a case of not having the time to ride it much. The sale of mine and my car at the time went into the new kitchen and bathroom fund which was a higher priority at the time admittedly.

In fact it "hurts", but I need to sell it for many reasons, long to explain.
In any case, if in the future I buy another sport bike , it will be a modern 1.000 SS

Newest 1000cc ss I have owned was the 2005 c model zx10r, absolute weapon, that if I'm honest I hated riding. I'll never buy a litre super sport again, far too focused on the road. What you have here is a perfect road bike.

Keep your 9r if you can, it looks brilliant, I have to sell my 7r, which is also a minter, soon due to lack of space since buying an MT09, if I had space I wouldn't get rid of it. But my shed is far too tightly packed with 2 bikes inside, my Deauville lives outside as it is.

So I feel your pain, sell the children or the cat instead?

Maybe my "problem" will be solved by itself as almost nobody is contacting me for the bike. Italians like modern bikes. No japan oldies, sport-tourism with carburetors

It looks great by the British standards, as every British registered bike looks awful. But seeing the Italian plate, I'm gonna say sell it and buy something else. The contintental Europe registered motorcycles are always this nice and shiny, because people mostly park them in a garage, don't ride in the winter salt or ride them in the South were it's sunny all year long.
