Hi all

I’m going to go ahead and change the rear wheel bearings on the XR next weekend.

Is there any special tools needed apart from the obvious like a tool Honda make or is it just a normal bearing change?

It’s annoying they don’t do a Haynes manual for this bike!

Thanks
Jeff

No, no special Honda tools required.
Drift out old bearings, press in new ones, that's what I did on my XL!

Done Thumbs Up

For anyone attempting this, it was a straight forward bearing change. Just one seal on one side (The bearing and seal kit usually comes with a seal for each bearing)

Remove seal and discard, drift out both bearings and replace.
