My reading is that it covers retailers too. There's a one year grace period for old stock but only for items covered under the previous PPE diktats... which bike clothing never was.

End of the day, they've had 2 years to prepare for this, it shouldn't come as a surprise, and if they get a shoeing from Trading Standards (or a sueball from someone who gets spazzed wearing non-CE kit) then it's their own lookout.

The item I'd bought had gone out of stock from the point of clicking to buy, got refunded so can't complain. However nothing else took my fancy so I called my local J&S (Nottingham) and asked if they'd got stock and honour the 20% discount M&P were doing and it was a yes to both, if anyone is in the same boat with M&P give it a shot.
