So, things have changed a bit since I first posted here. The bike above is now "my wife's" (ie, I let her believe it is hers and she rides it because she's not riding any of my newer bikes).

But I also now have:

- 2012 Cube Reaction GTC Pro 29 (carbon-fibre hard tail)
- Cannondale Synapse alloy (year unknown - approx 2009, 105 drivetrain, Ultegra levers)
- 2014 Fuji Altamira 2.7 (carbon fibre frame, Tiagra... for now)
- 1997 Trek 830 rigid steel MTB awaiting conversion to some sort of drop-barred gravelly-cross bike.

I also maintain my kids' Cube MTBs (a 20" and a 24").

Still knocking around on this that I purchased second hand with a few nips n tucks it is now a comfortable and fast commuter and trainer running on 28c tyres that just squeeze in.

I have got the bug a bit though and I am looking for something a bit different. Caught between a hardtail XC or a good clearance gravel bike, something a bit more capable and all road (larger and grippier tyres) but I won't be going single trail rides so no rocks or roots.
