Hi there. i bought these calipers on eBay from a seller that was unsure of the model. They are in good condition, but as i said, i don't know the model. I want to make some brackets to put on my GSXR 750 K1, but i am unable to get pads without trawling through EBC catalogues. The specifications are below;

Make : Nissin
Type : Four pot, different piston sizes
Mounting Distance : 84mm
Large Piston Size : 34mm
Small Piston Size : 30mm

picture attached.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks

My measuring must have been off! 83mm mounting pitch rather than 84mm. But it seems that you've found them. Thanks for that. As they say "Advantage Nissin Calipers" are they genuine nissin and thats the model or are they a pattern part?

Nissin might have something to say about a rival firm flogging parts with the Nissin logo stamp on them

I get the impression that Advantage make new old parts according to the original plans from various people like Nissin, Showa etc.

That said, if all you are after is pads, then the page linked says what bikes that caliper goes on, so you should be OK to look them up.

my question is ,
why put the brakes off a 125 on a 750?
isnt that asking for trouble?

Bandit 1200?

They look similar to the 4 pot nissins i fitted to my zx6r, which i think came from a bandit.

Same design but the Bandit ones have much bigger pistons than those.

I thought the same but I assumed it was for a rear wheel.
