Nice bike, I'm sure it's fairly hard to find such an old NSR that's still faired. Being a sporty 2t 125 in 15 years they've probably been dropped by scores of 17 year olds.

Cheers people,she's nice just needs a little touching up and she'll be looking nice again. Got a ever so slight crack on the left side of the fairing. But other than that and a few scratches she's perfect for a first ride.

Well I've never seen a quad-post before! Laughing

Its still pretty much an NSR, just the model before the real thing.

Wouldnt worry about a small crack in the fairing, a crack is nothing, especially for an old bike. What sort of mileage is it?

24 k with a very very recent engine rebuild. For £600 its a very very good deal. Its gonna get me through to taking my test this summer and then ill probably get a 400 and work up from there Smile

You have the right idea there. Its best to use a cheap 125 for a while, get through test and then spend money on a real machine after you've passed.

If its just had a recent rebuild, go easy on her. She could quite easily go pop and chances are, its had new piston rings along with the rebuild so they might need wearing in if they were changed.

Lovely bike thoughs. I regret selling mine but it had too many problems! Sad

When i say recent,i mean about 500 miles ago. Im just aking it easy on her,not going above 50 till i have done another 500 miles on her. But untill late summer she will hopefully do me proud. And be alot more reliable than my crappy Aprilia sr 125 twist and shite!

Also did you paint your wheels on your old ns? Because im thinking of painting mine in black.
