Sadie will be able to answer all your questions.

I think I'm going to ride down (all 300 odd miles) to attend. I might even drag along 1 or 2 others. Never been before but seen a review on M&M, looks good.

In fact, you remind me too, my memory is terrible. Are you heading down on the friday or the saturday? Staying over night?

Got no camping gear now and don't think I'll get a B&B this late so just do the Saturaday unless I can find somewhere to kip.
Have you booked or are you just going on spec?

Better dig my tent out, BMF member so I can make use of the camp site.

Still to invest in a tank bag, I'll probably be loaded up with a tent and change of gear.

I'm in Cumbria so the best route for you hagis bashers is M6, come of at Penrith junction where I'll meet you at the gas station, Then over the A66 to Scotch Corner, then down the A1 to Peterborough. Boring but quick. I'll get there as early as you want. Thumbs Up

A66 is a bit of a treacherous road is it not!?

Thats fine. Can make Penrith in no time.

It's a bit remote and exposed over Bowes Moore but there's no frightners on it as long as the weathers ok. Make sure you have a full tank at penrith though. It's a long stretch without a gas station and you don't want to be stranded on the moore. Fooin American werewolf country. Shocked

I'll need to run my bike dry soon to see how many miles I'm getting to a tank, manage 120 most runs no problem but I'm sure the is more to go.

You on a Blackbird?

Yeah Blue. 120 miles will get yo over to Scotch corner no prob. When you come of the M6 at Penrith you have to come of the roundabout heading for the town center to find the service station. Theres a cafe there but it doesn't open till about 8 or half past.

About 2.5 hours from Scotch Corner with just a fuel stop or two and not pushing too hard.
