In short, my Sena flew off my helmet at speed and is now long gone Surprised
Anyone selling one? (Either the complete thing, or just the module itself)

No idea what happened - it was all functioning normally so must've been connected properly, I'm guessing the plastic clip failed. It was 3 years old and used daily, so I guess it just gave up :/

No way! My 10-C has an extra clip that forceably stole it leaving the microphone wires if the main clip fails. Whenever I swap it to my other helmet (with no mic) I'm constantly worried about it flying off. 😪

I can recommend a 10-c though. Very good at everything other than journeys over 50minutes. Needs a battery pack.

I like the all-in-one design (with camera) - at the moment I have a TomTom Bandit on one side and the Sena on the other, so losing some shit off of it would be a good thing, but the 50 mins limit kills it (journey is a minimum of an hour, usually around 1H10)

Amazon sell the bluetooth module for £135, so I'll probably go with that if I can't find a 2nd hand unit...

(What I really want is the Nuviz, but it's £615 and later this year I know they're bringing out a new device in collaboration with Sena - so it'll be a much better unit [and hopefully cheaper])

I just carry a 20kma battery charger in my jacket pocket and have it plugged in 24/7. Works fine. And is was ace getting rid of all the shit off my helmet. (Pun intended)

Been watching nuviz... Not seen anything difinitive yet though on exact specs and release date though? Got any links?

Only this (via direct contact with them):

Unfortunately we don't yet have detailed time schedule available for this. The work is ongoing but it is unlikely there will be any press announcements related to this Sena collaboration during the first half of 2018 like it was stated in the original press release.

(That was from April too - so hopefully they're getting nearer to something to announce)
