AS the post says i need help with a GPR50 starter moter i have a Derbi GPR50 (1999) and im having the starter repaired but they need to know if its positvly earthed or nagatively earthed but i have stripped the bike and am unsure can any one help ????

Looking through a manual, almost certain its negatively, infact, call me stupid but ive never heard of earthing from the positive?

A lot of Brit bikes had a positive earth, as did cars. Not heard of anything modern being positive though.

a Derbi GPR 50 with a starter motor problem? What's the world coming to?

Mine's got the same and they ordered me a new starter motor under warentee so I'm not complaining.
