It should be quite capable of a good 300 miles a day without too much effort. Depends how much of a relaxing journey you want though.

It would be more down to how much the rider could cope with, a windscreen would not help the looks but make long motorway stretches allot easyer.

A mate went to the motogp (i think) on his bandit400 a few years ago, said it was fine the whole way, no problems.

They are good touring bikes dispite the lack of any faring (assumeing you have the unfaired version!

I think someone off here has ridden to italy on a 400, so a bandit 6 should do long journeys no problem, especially as the engine isn't in a high state of tune.

I've done 220kms on my RS50 in a day, was enough for me, being held flat out just isn't fun at all.
