The diagram for reference.
cursory glance shows:
Red/Yellow from dip beam to the dimmer switch. Then Blue Yellow to the headlamp on/off. Then red/blue to the connector then solid blue to the ignition switch.
Main Beam is Red white from dimmer switch to loom red/black.
Black yellow is ground, White is Battery Live (+). ____________________ Some shite cruiser. Now with guns and FREEDOM! |

I had a look at the diagram today and pretty much what Teme has said.
It looks like the dipped lights are on with the ignition as the brown/white wire connects to it, which then runs to the ignition (also to the tail light).
The red and white wires that you mention, red connects to the light circuit (brown/white to front, red to rear), the white goes from the ignition to the reg/rec and the starter relay, so there must be a park setting on your ignition barrel that lets you leave the side light and rear light on even with the key removed.
From the images you've posted, the only wires you really need to be checking are the red/yellow (lo) red/white (hi), blue/yellow is the earth. on the left handlebar switch and yellow and black on the right handlebar switch.... if any of that makes sense cause I've confused myself now  |
