You know on the Simpsons halloween episode where Bart and Millhouse go to Hogwarts and one of them tries to turn a frog into a person and is unsuccessful? The creature vomits and says 'kill me!'. Similar to the clone Ripley's from Alien Resurrection.

Well, this is the bike equivalent:

Here's another, the Harley Pan America:

('Murica, yeah!... Sheesh).

Struggling with pics atm.
However I suggest killing all Yamaha XS 250’s.

I’ve had three and they were all three legged donkeys Crying or Very sad

Their only saving grace was that a lot of the parts of the bike fitted other Yamaha’s.

What kind of bike IS that? Is it a Blandit Streetfighter?

The way so many people go all misty-eyed over those, you wonder why they ever moved onto bigger bikes Confused

I think all such people should be forced to ride those and nothing else, ever. I'm sure they'd all be quite happy.

I second the motion. ALL mopeds.

Way off topic as Marjay meant home or shop built abominations of a once decent motorbike.

But in addition to all Mopeds, we could add:

1, All 125's as they are overpriced, never looked after and ridden by clueless learners almost exclusively.

2, All new 250cc non competition bikes? They are generally not powerful enough to get to the top of the A2 limit and it today's lazy rider society the more cc for a given power output the better, as it easier to ride, more forgiving of noob errors, and sounds better when telling people what bike you ride.

3, All late 70's/early 80's UJM'S. They looked the same and had too much engine and too much of a crap wobbly chassis to be even worth thinking about in 2018.

4, Coffin tank RD's as all capacity versions looked exactly the same unimaginative shape so it didn't really matter whether you had a 125 or a 400.

5, All sports bikes before the Blade and then the R1, as they are all irrelevant in comparison.

You could say that it'd be best to ban all bikes made before vertical stacked gearboxes and mass centralisation too.

6, All brand new naked bikes, as the transformers look needs to be stamped out and made illegal.

Yeah soon there'd be no bikes left at all then and wouldn't that be just great times! Wink

You forgot KMX125s; specifically, definitely should be banned, especially if they're tinkered with in any way, shape or form Razz

Well, actually I was just talking about bikes that looked like they were in pain, factory or not. I'm not really talking about how a bike rides, but obviously threads are pretty organic things so it's interesting to see where people have gone with it! Smile

Fully agree with all nominations.

So what Keggyhander did wasnt considered a one off work of art, that really brought out the greatness in an otherwise dull me too Base bike?

Bikes we should embrace though? How about all these brown leather plank seat bobbers, trackers, cafe racers and street scramblers. They are so popular now and the only real imaginative and interesting way to go with motorcycle styling and engineering.

I've seen too many youtubes that start with "I've just got this bike in mint condition, low miles, practically a collectors..... angle grinder out, matt black paint, and many hours of fabrication to make something that looks like an unloved barely rideable piece of crap.
Hate it.

Hayabusa's. Might go like runny shit launched from a canon, but by fuck, they're ugly.
Original Katana with it's retarded, recessed headlight.
Ducati 906 Paso.
The Gilera thing with solid wheels.
Bugeye (2nd gen?) Triumph Tigers.

EDIT:-

Almost all modern "Cafe racers" that are nothing of the sort. Just because you bosh an uncomfortable shit-brown flat seat on a bike and some clip-ons on a bike, does not make it a cafe racer. Fucking Hipsters.

As this thread could easily alienate 90% of BCF'ers bikes to the utterly shit scrap bin, I want to nominate a great bike beyond banning or killing with fire.

Honda RC30. Its a truly great motorbike with huge attention to detail, unconventional and built for a job (to win things with). It has a great pedigree and competition record too. But the best reason it is the greatest ever bike is because it has a plaque on it that states it's the finest quality motorcycle and the best.

Any other bikes out there that stand above the rest enough to spare them from destruction?
