Lee Sayles - Funeral Arrangements - please read....

I recieved a call from Lee's father, Gary earlier tonight.

Despite the fact that Lee died in a motorcycle accident, and despite the fact that his mum understandably dislikes bikes, Lee's parents have agreed, and invited me to attend his funeral on my bike, as part of the funeral procession.

Lee was a commited biker, he loved his bike, he loved motogp, he loved bikes in general. On one occasion Lee and I even discussed our respective funerals, saying that if anything happened, the greatest thing we could hope for is a procession of bikes leading our procession.

I feel that leewould hope for nothing more than a procession of dozens of bikes, dozens of riders, all leading him to his resting place. A true Biker's funeral. It was his hope that this would happen, and it is my sincere hope that I, with your help can make this happen.

I would therefore like to state, that any available biker who is willing to make the journey, regardless of whether they knew Lee or not, is more than welcome to attend his funeral - The more bikes attend, the better.

As a friend of Lee's, I would ask you all to consider attending. Those interested will recieve more details of the funeral arrangements in due course.

The funeral will be in Rotherham, near Sheffield - South Yorkshire.

I am pleased that people are willing to attend Lee's funeral - He said for ages that if the worst happened he'd want a real biker's funeral.
Obviously I don't know when the funeral is, that's down to his parents. As soon as I know, I will provide further details.

Please, anyone who wants to come, you are more than welcome, even if you never knew Lee, Lee's dad would be pleased to see you there, he's said that much himself.
