Crikey. Failed a CBT.
I would probably find different CBT course and prior to clicking the button, establish whether the bikes are a better quality machine, and chat to the instructor to see if involves riding in the dark.
To be honest, I think if it was my first involvement with motorbikes and tests , I would perhaps wait till better weather, and more daylight hours.
I think that was pretty unfair of this test to be done in the dark. In view of the novice riders I think you could complain....perhaps a refund.
I’m not surprised the other student left early.
Good luck on that. Do a bit of research if possible.
(Me too, 1st time poster.)

First off, you cannot fail cbt. Its not a test.

What happened is that they feel you need more tuition.

Btw, it's winter. It starts to get dark at about 3. Why did you book your training now?

Don't worry, it's not that unusual to need a second day of training before getting your CBT certificate.

I'm not really an expert, but since a CBT certificate isn't a licence, I don't think they're likely to teach you all the rules of the road. That's kind of up to you.

You've got two weeks between now and then to prep for roundabouts. Go out on a peddle bike if you have one, or pay attention to what's going on when you're a passenger in car.

Jesus, that was a bit of an overreaction. I may as well be a compete cunt to noobs if that's the result of a minor chiding.

I'd have a fiver OP is (was Laughing ) female based on what I read throughout the wall of text and excuses before
the inevitable panties got inevitably bunched up and it was all deleted. Given that minor detail, an over-reaction should be expected. Tut Tut

Bit weird the getting dark thing, I did my CBT in January but in the morning (we were done by midday). Usual advice; you can't fail your CBT, you just didn't meet the required standard in the allotted time.

Schools have different attitudes to further training, some provide it for free, or for a small amount of money, if they want the CBT fee again go somewhere else (and give them the full fee).

The CBT is difficult, especially if you're new to riding and on a geared bike.

From memory, the OP lost confidence out on the road part of CBT, wasn't sure how to handle roundabouts, wasn't happy that it got dark, and didn't get a certificate at the end...

It's the Swindon magic roundabout*. I got lost once and was unexpectedly confronted with it. Lucky it was 1am, and no traffic, otherwise there's a good chance I would have an accident..

Why did nobody save a copy of the original post in my absence? Crying or Very sad

Someone else has to take responsibility for saving lulz posts, I can't do them all on my own. Sad

Sure, it was before Christmas and I've done fuck all since then but some of you need to step up and take responsibility for threads like this.

You need to deputise some (other) people Ste. Nobody wants to tread on your toes chap.

Still fathomable, a double mini roundabout is more confusing. That magic roundabout (I think they did it on Top Gear once?), I'd need to study it, run multiple complex simulations then I'd probably still...
