Rule 1. you can't pick a modern bike. That's like saying McFly's,
All About You is a classic song.
You won't know for 10 or twenty years time if it was a classic bike.

Aprilia RS3 CUBE 2004, and its also the best sounding bike ever in my opinion! 130db of pure screaming triple with a deafening crack to be heard with each gear change. Awesome

The question was favourite bike, not classic though.

So at the end of your long and illustrious life would you pick the bike you own now as your favourite?

Fastest production bike for over 20 years. First made before the WW2, every one garaunteed to do over 100mph and tested as such. A REAL mans bike from when men were men and women would put-out just to hear the engine running.

My favourite is decided on an all round scale not just 1 point and as it happens i own my favourite bike.........the gentlemans express 'Honda CBR1100XX SuperBlackbird'.

Now if i were to choose the most radical, best looking (in my eyes) and the one i'd own if i did less miles blah blah then the 'Suzuki GSX1300R Hayabusa' would win for me.
My Blackie wins coz it does everything i ask it to and is economical Rolling Eyes to run ( as economical as a big bike can be) and it won't rot when it rains.

Do you know Jim Snaith by any chance? Little round smiley bloke, he races an Aermacchi 350 out of Silloth and is one of the driving examiners in Workington.

No but we are friends of 'Stan Nightingale' who used to race an Aermacchi 350 from Stockport, also of TT fame many many moons ago.
