Went for a great ride on Sunday, I had the bike all warmed up and found some roads worthy of a blast.
My VFR is pretty quick, on hard acceleration it feels like the back wheel is either spinning or the bearing is going as the wheel shudders. Might be the power I don’t know, as I haven’t ridden so fast I wouldn’t know the feeling.

Comments…….. Thumbs Up

Might be something as simple as a wheel balancing problem which is easily rectified - If you're that concerned though it would probably be advisable to take it to a local dealer to get it checked out.

Might be worth giving your chain and sprockets a look over if the problem only happens when you lay the power down hard.

With the bike on the center stand and the back wheel off the ground.

Get hold of the tyre at the 3 o-clock and 9 o clock position and try to wobble it back and forth. There should be no movement if there is your wheel bearings are toast (or need to be tightened Not sure if you can do it to that model). You may also feel the bearings grinding as you rotate the wheel. Also check all fastners are tight on the awingarm, including the main swingarm bolt.
