pitted front forks ?

bikes nearly a yr old .. been rode every day thru winter
cold water rinse once a week was washed and reapplied acf50 mid dec

now is it reasonable to expect slight pitting ? I'm thinking not
there the size of a pin head and theres 5 of them .
do you think I could go to Suzuki with it ?
yeah it's a little 125 gsx s or try and treat it myself ?

yeah I know tez take my dam test ..planning it this yr honest

There are two treatments available to you.

1 - do it proper, get the stanchions rechromed and ground. Will cost about £180, there are about half a dozen places in the UK that do it.

2 - bodge it with araldite or similar.

imho it shouldn't happen, but this is how manufacturers build bikes to hit price points.

If it's still within warranty (which I'm guessing it is from the age), then demand that it's faulty materials at the dealership and insist on them dealing with it (preferably new forks). Make a big song and dance about cleaning it religiously and applying ACF50 so they don't assume (or can't rely on) neglect.

Yep, I too recon you should claim if in warranty.
BMW replaces corroded items if in warranty.
