the way I see it if your going fast enough to break something then your going to break it no matter what you wear ..
if your that worried
a) don't ride a bike
b)get a robo cop suit ..
your chest will be fine but you may lose your legs and arms .. and break your neck ?

Some thin plastic and foam rubber ought to completely soak up the forces of any serious off. Or maybe it will just
do fuck all but make you more uncomfortable when riding. If you're so adversed to coming to any harm (a very modern
mindset) then perhaps car ownership would suit your chutzpa level better, or perhaps an armoured personnel carrier.

Thinking about the "mechanism of injury" a chest plate isn't going to protect you completely from collar bone fractures, ribs maybe, a bit.

Only time I see someone fully clad in armor is on some twat wearing that with just a vest, riding like a cunt on their GSXR-NinjaBlade.

You still dwelling on this shit? Crack on with living man!

I've broken 8 or 9 ribs in one go, cracked more on three occasions, and mullered a collarbone, among my more minor injuries Laughing I still (kind of) function Smile

Better still, get some miles (experience) under your belt so these things are less likely to happen.

You ok hun? If the truth is hurting you, it certainly helps explain why you feel you need to wear a suit of armour just
to ride your bike. This should be sufficient for your confidence level.

Just as an aside, I don't know what I've ever said that suggests that I'm an office worker? Or a worker at all for
that matter. Laughing I'm guessing you've come to that conclusion because I can spell. So, just to educate you out of your
prejudice, I also get no sick pay and no holiday pay either for that matter. I'm just less of a fairy than you.

Honestly no clue why people are being so incredibly hostile to a perfectly good question. Perhaps low sugar or something!

I recently bought this https://www.infinitymotorcycles.com/product/forcefield-elite-chest-protector-black-yellow and it can be used with a back protector.

Just like yourself I was using a back protector for a while and recently considered getting a chest protector.
