respraying a bike

hi all

have decided on a Z800 as my next bike but pretty picky with colours, I would like an all black one but they never seem to pop up down my way for test ride and purchase. generally how much does a good respray cost? if not too costly am thinking of just buying a decent model then having it completely sprayed black, or am i getting a bit ahead of myself

Buy one as close to as what you want as possible and then replace the panels etc with the ones you desire bit by bit when they come up cheap?

Stripping the paint from a new-er bike like a Z800 seems a shame. Could just recoup the money by flogging them on eBay.

What about having it wrapped? Tank would be the hardest part but professional outfits will have done it before.

Bikes only come in 2 colours... out of factory and black. Test riding a green one won't hurt!
