Yes charge it in situ, the Optimisers etc all charge in situ.  ____________________ Richard

Try an Optimate Charger...

They keep the battery charged continually and regulate the charge being put into it so the battery doesn't get damaged by overcharging.
They cost approximately £40.00 but there are other makes out there that are a bit cheaper (I'm pretty sure Oxford do one that's slightly cheaper).
One of the essential pieces of biking kit of you're not riding everyday imho.

Not gonna work as the battery doesn't charge on tickover I am afraid. Only after a certain amount of revs AFAIK.  ____________________ Be careful whose advice you buy, but, be patient with those who supply it. Advice is a form of nostalgia, dispensing it is a way of fishing the past from the disposal, wiping it off, painting over the ugly parts and recycling it for more than it?s worth. |
