That raises a question in my mind. Is "act of God" still in any insurance policy clauses?
I know it doesn't matter much to this chap as far as a payout on his bike is concerned, by say he had a life insurance policy - would his family get a payout? ____________________ Chickenystripgeezer's Biking Life (Latest update 19/10/18) Belgium, France, Italy, Austria tour 2016 Picos de Europa, Pyrenees and French Alps tour 2017 Scotland Trip 1, now with BONUS FEATURE edit, 5/10/19, on page 2 Scotland Trip 2 Luxembourg, Black Forest, Switzerland, Vosges Trip 2017

Not sure - in the world of mortals, all we could refer to would be the specific terms of his insurance policy. However, when Zeus takes someone out, Hera or one of the other goddesses can usually swing some kind of recompense for whoever they leave behind, if only because those left behind are instrumental in some other divine sidestory. So his family will get something from some source, I'm sure. |
Alternatively, you could follow in the footsteps of Betty Penrose who, in 1969, sued God for $89,000*.
God was accused of "careless and negligent control of the weather", after Betty’s home was destroyed by a lightning strike.

It is still in my employer's insurance policy so I guess so, or maybe just very large corporations as we have tons of medical equipment worth ££££ and building infrastructure etc |
