recommendations on lever set and front brake

I'm looking for some new levers and a front brake master cylinder for a bike I'm upgrading.

There is the obvious eBay set that is available fro £20 but I'm reluctant to trust them.

Any recommendations on a kit that includes all of the above and doesn't break the bank?

+1 for Chinese levers off eBay. Never had issues with them, had them on 5 different bikes over the years.

i am a fan of the cheap levers.
not sure id risk a no name master cylinder though.

There was a chap on here a few years ago who bought a set of Chinese knockoff levers. Turns out the brake lever was holding the brake slightly on. I can't remember the details, it either boiled his brakes and led to a crash, or clamped on at the wrong time and led to a crash. Either way, very expensive way to save 50 quid.

I tried a set on the Guzzi. The clutch lever didn't quite fit, and they were really uncomfortable - very square profile. Got a refund though.

My brother actually has a set and they do feel really cheap and sloppy. When it comes to brakes I'd much rather spend a little more and not trust my life to Chinese quality.

I used a Chinese master cylinder and lever on a bike I was doing up. I did get a duff one first (threads were cut wonky where the banjo goes), but UK seller sent a replacement set and they worked fine.
