I did somthing really stupid

riding down the street, and some guy coming in the opposite direction, turns to go right.... instead of going into the junction he slowed right down causing me to slam on and go straight into the side on him...

he got out of the car.... i screamed at him and well i hit him and broke his Jaw... got cautioned by the police and, well see what happens next...

Anything happened like that to anybody else??

He might let it drop if you don't try and claim of his insurance but I suspect he's gonna press charges. Broken Jaw will cause loss of income and he'll be talking to solicitors about compensation.

You are right you did something stupid, there was no need to hit him as you would have had a really good case before hand, shouting would have been enough, however that is in the past and now you must look to trying to get in as little trouble as possible.

CAUTIONED for a broken jaw i suspect there is some economy with the full story somewhere.
A busted jaw is a sec 18 asault in which you would have been charged with the said offence and be in court on Tuesday.

Yeah got arrested and then cautioned, the guy now has the opportunity to take it further I.E sue for damages ect... but as im poor then no doubt the goverment will pay for it....

As for the bull sh*t part i wish... if it was i wouldnt be so bothered, but the cop rang me at about 10:30 last night to tell me his details and how he was....

Just see what steps he takes next, no doubt he will want money... especially if some slimy solicitor heres about it

has the impact bent your forks or anything like that? As for some reason where i'm from, the second the wheel gets mis-aligned then it's a write off, so you should still claim

Do you have a history of assault? If not---you'll probably get off with a fine, some community service and maybe some anger management (which sounds like something you need anyways---not trying to slag you off, but...).

If you have a history, I would expect to see the inside of a jail cell for a bit.

A few of you seem to think that he over reacted hitting the guy, but then, i think u people need 2 put yourself in his situation: The guy stopped INSIDE A JUNCTION, think if Wonderb0y had seen the green light alittle while off and kept up his speed, he could have been easily killed or seriously injured. I mean what the frack was he doing stopping in a junction!? But i spose breaking his jaw was a tiny bit of an over reaction, i woulda just panned in his windscreen
