I stopped counting, or rather, after those first few months, I haven't fallen off or dropped it at all. Those first few months I think eight was the count, including 1 unknown involving prolonged periods of unconciousness, broken bones and opiates, 2 binnings on crappy surfaces, one being flipped into the verge by means of footpeg, and various other accidental drops at low speed and whilst stationary, including one whilst carrying the bike and slipping on moss.

Technically, I've never crashed. Off the record, I dropped it on a friends lawn once while trying to show off. ...good times. Confused

Nothing major, the odd slip i the garage resulting in a broken lever, and a front wheel lock-binnage on a wet white line next to a petrol station (so no doubt oil/fuel about too). Those were both 2 bikes and a year ago Smile

None in a long time, however had a couple of near misses, last time I nearly came off was at night, slowing down to do a left hand turn, my front locked up do to a small sheet of plastic on the road, lucky for me I managed to say upright.

Okay I despatch, I wouldn't say I'm the perfect rider but I consider myself to be a safe rider, I don't ride like a nutter like most of the couriers do. My licence, my bike and my life are more important than a delivery, so what if I don't make as much cash as the others.

I spent a lot of money on my fleet of three bikes, I want to keep them as long as possible.

Fell off once on the road, a 10mph drop turning into a driveway on ice, but that's not really a crash and it was longer than a year ago so I'm a perfect rider touch wood.

Once.

Last summer. Gorgeous weather, new bike, country roads ... Hair pin bend, too fast. Mad You get the picture. Laughing Couldnt stop in time, so ended up bailing off the road. Dislocated shoulder and a few bumps & bruises. Bike wasnt too bad either, just a few bent bits which were soon replaced. Smile

Once. VW golf pulled out of a blind turning across me stopping the bike dead. I went over his bonnet, but not before my left foot caught my handlebars which sent me into a cartwheel in the air. Slid a good 15 feet along the road before getting up, taking my helmet off, walking over to the pavement and collapsing.

A couple of broken bones im my foot alot less skin on my legs...serves me right for wearing jeans. As for the bike, it bent the frame pretty bad. It ripped the cylinder head apart where it was bolted to it. Not something I plan to do again in the future, once was definetly enough. Smile

Twice, once in my first two weeks of riding due to inexperience, poor old cg and once I got knocked off my RS125, since then I've been fine but I'm expecting to crash at some point this year if I do a few track days.

Many times on my first bike (a cg) quite a few on various bikes since.

I think some of those crashes gave me some kind of 'instinct' that has proved useful on bigger, faster, more expensive bikes Smile.

Have managed to go over the front of a bike, then off the back at much faster speed two weeks later.

Once....
end of last year....did everything wrong, must have been a bad morning !

I was approaching a left turn...it was raining...I was going too fast...there was a slippy manhole and a drain cover on the corner of this tight turn.. I braked on the corner Shocked ...

I came off. Bike one way..me sliding across the floor the other way.

Hurt for a week solid. Bugger.
