Petrol proof paint?

Does such stuff exist, or do you have to use petrol proof laquer over paint?

he reason i ask is because my bike isnt laquerd, so i would rather no have a fairly shiney bike with an ultra shiney tank

Most auto paint is fuel proof.. anything that comes out of a rattle can isn't because it's crap....

Yeah, well there's my problem, money is very short at the moment, so i need something in rattle can form

Professional painters tend to use 2 pack paints now, which is more petrol proof as it has a separate hardener.

Spray a good very coats of Halfords clear coat / laquer and it should provide enough protection against the odd little drip, but it won't be truely petrol proof.
