Following on from my previous chain issue thread, I'm struggling to get a rivet link anywhere. I've tried the 3 motorcycle shops within reasonable driving distance and nobody can provide me with a suitable rivet link.

The chain which I am going to use is a did50. I have bought 2 rivet links online but they don't fit through the hole!

When searching online there seem to be codes that come with did rivet links. Came across NZ, VM, JZ, VX, ZJ and TR.

What do these letters mean?

Any other tips for ordering the correct rivet link this time around?

When you search for did50 most listing come up saying did50 and did530. Are these chains identical? And if so, why are my rivet links not passing through?

My patience is wearing thin with this bike.

I don't think they do rivet links for did standard duty DID chains.

M&P are a huge national motorcycle parts warehouse. You can call them.
