I recently got a Sinnis Encanto 50cc
Had no problems int eh 4 weeks since owning.
Went to the shop earlier. Turned off. Came back 5 mins later and nothing. Turning the key no lights, horn, nothing.
It is under warranty but I can't get the bike to the shop.
I am not mechanical at all.

Anything I can check myself without taking the bike apart?

Thanks

Tell the shop where it is, they can pick it up.

I'd imagine a Sinnis dealer would have at least the one recovery van.

If you really want to do something, have a look at the battery, which is probably under a cover where you put your feet, and check the connections to the battery terminals aren't loose.

Other than that, if you are really not mechanical, as others have said.

Depending on how it's wired it's quite possible one of the battery terminals worked its way loose while you were riding and the engine carried on regardless Smile You might not have noticed things like indicators not working Very Happy

A lot of scoots have the main fuse close to the battery
so when you lift the plate to have a look at battery terminals
check that as well.
It may be glass tube type which if it's blown may be a PITA as
they're not as easy to get hold of as a blade types which you can get in any filling station
