Never been to one of these before but seems like a good idea now I'm working on the DT175:

https://www.kemptonautojumble.co.uk/

I usually get up first thing in the afternoon on a Saturday but I suppose I'll have to put in some extra effort Smile I note they charge extra before 9:30am Shocked Who's actually shopping at 7:45am ffs Very Happy

You'll only know if you go, and wonder what you missed if you don't. Weathers meant to be rubbish so factor in how many people will turn up / how fun looking around will be compared to if it were hot, for example.

You may find treasure for your bike but would expect to sift through a lot of stuff to find it. Perhaps ask the sellers if they've got anything for your bike to save you time.

Take cash. The smaller the notes the better for things like this, and bags/car to put things in if you get over enthused and on a buying spree.

See a bargain see if you can haggle and sell it on eBay, perhaps.

Enjoy either way.

Go quickly, before it shuts down and the new housing estate gets built.

I would queue hours before opening if I wanted to seriously look. London Pokémon store opens midday Sunday, I'm there at 7am. Laughing

I used to live in Hampton and would go regularly and early only because it was close by.
Not going to travel from Ipswich to look at overpriced rust and try to buy stuff I don’t need from grumpy vendors.

I used to like the Kempton Auto Jumble as it was one of the bigger ones with a bit more variety.

I used to go quite regularly when I lived close. The stuff on offer was very hit and miss, its certainly somewhere to go on the off chance, rather than hope someone's flogging something specific cheap.

I came back with a project or two, especially late 80/early 90s 2 strokes. Take plenty of cash, just in case.

It'll be a pretty dire experience if the weather's shit....

Lightweight Smile I used to live in Cornwall... can't say it even properly rains in these parts. My parents house is up on the downs (see what I did there?) and sometimes you could spend a month literally living in a cloud.
