2014 CBF125 engine stops whilst riding.

Me asking this time , instead of answering other peoples queries.

CBf125 2014 plate, ,he engine stops annoyingly, at random, whilst riding. sometimes after a couple of miles , sometimes after only a few hundred yards. The bike has had a replacement pump ( Ebay special, now not fitted) which didn't make any difference, still died at random distances.

Once it has stopped it won't restart for 20-25 minutes, then runs OK again, as if nothing has happened. The bike always starts from cold everytime and will idle all day. The pump and tank have been cleaned out , a few little bits of shit from the filter , but it flows fuel well. It's had a filter fitted in the flow line , but no sign of ' tank residue'.
I'm beginning to wonder about the ECU , either a dry joint or corroded connection.
Tappets have been done and set wide. Plug seems ok , starts from cold ok.
When it dies , restarts and then dies after a second , sounds like fuel presure to me , is there a fuel pump relay ( like a car) ?

Any helpful suggestions ( 5000 words max please) much appreciated .

Does it die all of a sudden or splutter to a halt? The former suggest electrical problems whereas the latter is problem fuel related.

have you checked the IACV and TPS, no relay and Fuel pump outside the tank on the CBF 125 ,inside the tank on the CB 125f

Sorry , Idle Air Control Valve, located on the right hand side of the Throttle Body , hoping its an electrical Fault/connection

Start easy: Try a new spark plug first.
I've had plugs do that - they seemed to short the leccy at temperature and were fine when cooler.

I'd go with ECU. Seen electronics both on and off bikes that work fine when cold, but due to cr@ppy soldering etc, they die when hot. Looks like they're pretty cheap on ebay, wouldn't cost a fortune to rule it out ...
