Southend Today

did anyone go ? was brilliant, great weather and bikes as far as the eye can see, must have been 10 thousand easy.
nothing like 200 bikes filtering through traffic though

It was the southend shakedown today, a charity ride from the ace cafe to southend.

was the "Southend Shakedown" run from Ace Cafe to Southend(somewhat predictably)

went down about 11am ish with Wave and a few others, stopped off at the Dick Turpin on route and had a great time watching the Mods go past with comedy horns and mirrors, then some crazy choppers and trikes before riding down there and joining a few hundred bikes doind some dodgy filtering

the seafront was totally rammed with just about every type of bike you could think of,.....and then a few more

just spent a few hours looking around teh bikes , chatting to random people, checking out the Essex talent and chilling in the sun


then headed back via lakeside and some roundabouts which Wave will tell ya about later im sure ........


...all in all cracking day !!!
