Does anyone know where I can get a new link pipe to fit a yamaha xs400 carburetor? Please let me know as I need one for a restoration/cafe racer project I am doing.

Making it original would be almost impossible due to missing parts and damaged parts. I like cafe racers because they remove all unnecessary parts and clean the look of the bike up but thats my opinion. I know lots of people who don't agree.

Maybe you should read this thread, and what some members have to say about the XS.

I reckon you might be better off keeping it as near to standard as possible.
Caf’e racers/bitsa bikes nearly always end up being more trouble than they are worth.

Whilst I am in broad agreement with the anti-cafe school of thought (think CX500s etc..) some machines you can do no further harm to and the XS400 likely falls into that category.

Never going to be worth anything in standard trim and if half that trim is already missing then plough on. Just go easy on the chequered tape and Ace cafe stickers..

If you'd said 'bobber' mind you I'd be round to punch you on the nose.

This the link pipe between the two airboxes on the air intake side?

Best bet is a bit of silicone hose, there is plenty on ebay in a variety of sizes and colours, they use them on car turbo and coolant systems.
