5.2hp @ 7.000 rpm!

Going OT here (sorry in advance) Has anyone been to the Sammy Miller museum and seen the four pot 50cc motor on display? I was impressed anyway, given that it is 40-50 years old!

Quiet old now I would think, the last time I see one on the road was 10years ago or so, more of a gimmick bike perhaps.

edit, just read the specs, yup, quiet old Laughing

Hi

Seen them years ago, but not for ages. Dealer down near Southampton had a load in. Complete with SACS (Suzuki Advanced Comical System).

All the best

Palmerz;

Yep, www.robwillsher.com. Thumbs Up

However, if it's still there, I don't believe it's for sale.

i also like the fact that it is single seated.

never understanded why 50's have pillion seats, there pretty much useless to most people.

Hi

Honda and Yamaha also produced these small gag bikes. Probably the best known was the Yamaha YSR50 (which was a 2 stroke so quite a bit quicker), and the bigger engined YSR80 version.

Not sure if any of them were officially imported to the UK but you do see them around for sale.

All the best

Keith
