I'm looking for wheels for a Honda Cbr400 NC29, 17" back and front, they need to take 120 and 150 tyres respectively.

I'm hoping to respray them my own colours so cosmetic condition doesn't matter. Greatest concern is them being undamaged and reasonably light. I wouldn't want to spend more than £300 in total, might spend £400 if the wheels are really nice. I'm not bothered if the front and back wheels aren't the same, infact I rather like the uneven look.

Also are the fittings for axles, discs and sprockets universal?- my first time looking for wheels! I've already got original discs and a rear sprocket.

Best bet might be to simply go for a set of nc29 wheels, would be interested to find out what other people think though.

Many thanks,
Henry

NC29 wheels are as common as dogshit, I’m not seeing the issue here? Does eBay search not work in your house?

Just wondering If I'd do better buying a some Ducati or Yamaha r1 rims instead.

You can’t just swop random wheels into the stock front and rear end. Plus those two wheels you mentioned would be far too wide anyway. You’d be better off spending the money on sorting the suspension than pointless wheel swops.
