Hi all

I used to love the forcerider jeans for city riding but sadly they seem to be no more, has anyone who used to wear them found ones with a similar fit, i used to like them as they have big thighs and are quite tapered at the bottom so they come in nicely at the ankle, most motorcycle jeans are so baggy at the bottom and look weird off the bike, i could wear forcerider jeans as normal jeans sometimes

Cheers
Dom

I've got two pairs of Force Rider jeans, the first are those 'baggy' type but the second ones were much better and as you say looking good off the bike. I then found out that they were no longer selling those but I went into DK bikes in Newcastle-u-Lyme and clocked them there . They were literally identical but carrying the WEISE tag in place of FR and instead of costing £45 they were priced at £144 !!!. I'm now looking myself for something a bit more 'wallet-friendly'.

I've had a few makes over the years, currently using JTS warrior jeans. They come in a huge range of sizes, and are pretty good in the wet if you haven't got time to stop and put on a pair of over trousers. They aren't the cheapest, but they work well and I'm on my 3rd pair. Mrs K wears a pair too, very comfortable and warm is her feedback. Wear mine most of the year round, highly recommend them.

I've found the Bull-it SP120 jeans the best fit. The slim versions fit just like normal jeans and I know a few people who wear them all day off the bike and nobody notices they are bike jeans.
Only downside is the price, but I picked up a pair in the sales a month ago for £60 without armour. They are quite stretchy so get a waist size down.

The JTS one's look pretty decent, how roomy are they on the thighs and do they come in at the ankle so could wear them off the bike say with trainers like straight cut normal jeans. Bit worried as they say they are slim fit

They fit like normal jeans, go over boots, but aren't too wide at the bottom. They are fine around the thighs, and I'm not skinny!

£300 is a bit steep! Forceriders were around £40-50 and did the job of city commuting fine, looking for a good replacement

There are some cheaper Rokkers on ebay. They really are in a different class.
