Sitting here in the office , bord as smuck, looked at the clock and just noticed that we only have 5 hours and 40 mins left of 2019 (scary) so I thought as I have nothing else to do (and the fact that the forum has had alot of ..er.... 'heated issues' with certain people in the last couple of days)

I thought that I would use this to simply say HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE Very Happy

p.s Anyone got any new years resolutions they plan to actually stick to?

I will reduce my sugar intake for next year..........well actually for about 2 days, then I will forget Wink

A small, fluffy racist cat affixed to a glove would make a good visor wiper Thumbs Up

Thinking

It probably doesn't have to be a racist one.

Erm.. happy New Year yes.

Resolutions? Probably more like aims and ambitions: For years I've looked after my diet, my health and so on - it's done Jack Sh*t. All it actually did was make me unhappy. Sod it - gonna live things differently..
I've been far too busy and far too focused on a lot of stuff this past year or two aswell. Again it's more 'me' time I'll be doing. I expect I'll be arrested more times this coming year but hey I'll be happy and alive.
I guess that's my resolution: To live more of a life!

Long LONG ago I realised the pointlessness of NY Resolutions.
Nobody ever really sticks to them with the original zeal.

But this year what I thought I might do is instead of making a New YEAR resolution, I'd just have 12 different ones, for each month - in a sort of self-reinvention kind of effort, because after the complete and utter fiasco that was my personal life last year (except for that last wonderful little bit in Australia and NZ) - I need to now rethink just who Jennifer is and what she is about these days.

So little revamps of my personal attitude towards myself, each month, I think will improve my outlook on life and myself in general. I can stick to a months worth of change, cos it doesn't stretch out into Forever-and-ever, and if I change my mind - I only have less than a month to put up with having to do it.

So January was going to be about the improvement of the appearance of my flabby upper arms. So I watched a couple of you tube vids about bingo wing reduction exercises. And I think I can cope with that. Start with short sets of reps, move on upward as it gets easier. etc.

But then *this morning* I decided to set myself a goal of being even more bad-ass than I was before. Just not sure how. got the whole of January to think about it, and can then implement it in February, meantime I will have a months worth of bingo wing improvement exercises under my, ermmmm, bingo wings.

And can then move onto February happy in the knowledge that I have at least TRIED Laughing

You could try saying 'Grrrrrr' as you do the exercises, that's two goals in January and then you can have February off.

I have a new new years resolution.

Trying to talk wifie out of this years planned holiday, which I won't succeed.

A Fred Olsen cruise to see the northern lights.

Talk about a busman's holiday. I told her we have a boat and can go for a cruise anytime. Funnily enough that got poo pood.

Oh well, hopefully a nice bar and casino on board. Thumbs Up

At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localised entirely within your kitchen?

Go for longer rides on the pig (Dorset and Cornwall) and to snort a shitload more sugar than I've previously been comfortable with. And more booze. Very Happy
