When my mother rings it's usually an hour long conversation about nothing I can relate to or "why isn't Brexit done yet?" so I tend to fill in the time...

Tonight I typed in all the power, torque and price specs from Honda's website into Excel to calculate* what I've like to call "Powa" (W/Kg/£) and "Twerks" (Nm/Kg/£.)

Yes, folks, totally through the looking glass and beyond all rational help!

Code:
BIKE        POWA    TWERKS  TOTAL
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
CB650R      33      30      63
CB1000R     30      29      59
CBR650R     29      27      56
CBR1000RR   30      24      55
NC750S      19      33      52
VFR1200X    21      28      50
CB500F      22      27      49
CMX500      21      27      48
NC750X      18      30      48
CB300R      21      25      46
VFR800      23      22      45
CB1100RS    19      26      45
CBR500R     20      24      44
CB500X      19      24      43
Africa Twin 18      25      42
Fireblade   23      16      39
CRF250L     14      18      33
CRF450L     13      17      31
CB125F      12      15      28
MSX125      10      16      26
Goldwing    9       16      25
Super Cub   10      14      24
Monkey      9       14      24
CB125R      11      11      22
Unsurprisingly the Fireblade doesn't do too well with its 23 bag price tag. Spending your money on the CB/CBR 650 & 1000 seems the saner choice. Bottom of the pile: the 125s but also the Goldwing Thinking Silly money + fat fucker!
*I did factor in dry weight plus an extra 100kg for rider, fuel, oil & water.
I suppose I just want to reassure people that, when driven to the edge of sanity, that my madness is benign Laughing
You'll have to chart your own course down the rabbit hole as I deleted it when I realised the full horror of the thing Wink
The numbers are meaningless unless you factor in the Grinworthys.
