I had similar problems with the Superlight and now the Rebel:

Where the fuck can you get stuff for 1 inch handlebars? Everything I turn up is the so-called universal 7/8"

No, I don't want chrome "Harley" grips with pointed ends that stab you in an off, skulls or leather tassels!

Just get some 7/8th ends, and wrap tape around to make up to 1 inch.
