tyre price for my gilera scooter?

Hi my rear tyre on my gilera dna 125 needs replacing as its flat.

the local honda garage down the road for me said it will be £75 inc fitting,

does that sound right?

tyre size is 160/40 14

they want £22 for fitting.

Yep. Thats right.

If you take the wheel off the scooter and take just the wheel to them. The fitting should be free...

The fitting cost is about right. I had my front wheel bearings replaced today and the labour cost was £17.50 for 30 minutes worth of work.

Bikerite, Glasgow, charges by the half hour not like some other which charge by the hour for labour !

The price sounds about right as many bike tyres can cost between £50 to £100
