Hey guys new here, I know nothing about motorbikes but have ended up with an old not working A50. Currently taking it apart to catalogue the parts etc. Does anyone know the size of the magneto puller that I need to buy?

No idea, but a search seems to indicate M27 x 1.0. Perhaps you could measure the diameter with a steel tape or better, estimating the thread diameter of the outside of the puller required? You can find the pitch by using (for instance) an M6 bolt, which has a pitch of 1mm (same as 0BA), and trying it against the magneto's threads.

Try looking at your rear wheel axle, sometimes they can be used as a puller.

Almost certain M27X1 left hand thread same as C90 etc etc

probably the left hand thread, fine thread one like for many many small jap bikes/engine, c50, suzy zr50 etc., etc., etc.........c90 is different
